There was a major boat race going on as we did the Au Sable River.

What I heard it took around 14 hours for the winners to complete the 130 or so mile race. Got a lot of pics of these guys out where no paid photographer dares to go.

Racers crossing a damn.
They had lost control and their boat made it to the other side before they did. It happened often, they were not the only racers to do this.
